It’s kind of morbid to think this way, but from the second you’re born, your time here on Earth comes with an expiration date.  We really do have a limited amount of time here, and we never know just how much time that is.  So if you only have a limited amount of time, why are you wasting it?  This is YOUR life, and it’s your chance to live your dreams.  Don’t live the life that somebody else has planned for you.  Find your dream and pursue it.  When we’re little our parents usually do a pretty good job of encouraging us that anything is possible and to pursue our dreams.  When we get in to school, we start getting pigeon-holed.  We’re put in the Red Sox reading group, or the Yankees – I’m from New England, so the Red Sox was the higher group and the Yankees was the lower group, and we all knew that.  Our dreams weren’t encouraged, we were expected to conform to our group, and not plan on getting out of it.  Then in high school, they may have given you a career aptitude test, and you were told you should go to college to become this or maybe go to trade school to become that.  Nobody ever bothered asking what you wanted to do.  While now I’m asking, “What do you want to do with your life?”  It is, after all, your life, so why not do what you want and chase the dreams you want?  Why not take a chance and live your dream?  Remember, your time is limited so start now!
