Today’s post is a little different – it’s the Daily Positive Thought I sent out yesterday:

I am sorry for the delay in the Daily Positive Thought today.  I live in New England and we were hit by an early Nor’ Easter that resulted in widespread power outages, including my house.  No power means no internet and worse, no showers!  But the shelter in town opened today, so I got my shower and now I’m at an internet café and without further ado, here is today’s Daily Positive Thought.

Why am I posting this?  Because I am looking upon this as an awesome opportunity to find the positives in this.  We have no power, which sucks.  But we have places to go to keep warm and ways to charge technology, and the ability to go to internet cafes to get online.  My perishable’s are on the back porch under a pile of snow (call me pioneer woman lol) and best of all, thanks to a purchase of an itty bitty book light, I am getting a chance to get a LOT of reading done.  So see, bright side 🙂  Do I want my electricity back?  Heck yeah, but until it comes on, I’m going to make the best of it.
