I use these quotes in my classroom every day, as well as in the Daily Positive Thought.  I just had a student in my room pitching a fit over another student, going on, ranting and raving – you get the picture.  After she left, I kicked myself because I hadn’t put the quote up on the board yet and it fit perfectly.  It takes courage to be a leader and for sure it takes courage to speak up against someone who is doing wrong, but it takes real courage to let someone else take control or put their idea in action.  It’s a wise person who knows when it’s time to speak up and when it’s time to listen.
